About Susan
My Bio
One of the most significant things life has shown me is how tremendously healthy touch contributes to our well-being. Massage is an excellent conduit to address muscular, mental, and emotional tension and distress. I feel privileged to work in this field of ongoing educational opportunities, helping people heal.
I was raised at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and moved to Texas in my mid-twenties and will never leave the hill country. Often, I spend my free time on home improvement, gardening, camping, kayaking, music, and dancing.
Over my life, I've raised and taught four children, worked as a CNA, and worked as an intervenor for a special needs student for five years providing support to ensure effective communication and reception of clear information for children with communication disabilities.
We soothe our babies, calm our toddlers, reassure our teenagers, and comfort our elderly with well-intentioned touch. My life experiences have taught me how healthy touch can help in many ways, such as communicating when other faculties are impaired, providing emotional comfort, relieving physical discomfort, and providing a significant addition to any type of healing. I love helping people, and I love learning. There will always be something more for me to learn about massage, whether from books, classes, other LMTs/coworkers, or my clients as each individual requires different methodologies with individualized applications. Massage can help people of all ages and situations.
I look forward to a lifetime of learning to help better others’ lives which cross my path, and hope to see you on my table soon.
